He was further trained in a highly exhaustive year long fellowship program in Max Super-Speciality Hospital, Mohali. There under the aegis of Dr Manuj Wadhwa, he has fine tuned his surgical skills in cruciate retaining knees. He had been the guide and co-ordinator for the various national and international surgeons visiting the hospital for their training, conducting workshops and training modules in various implants and minimally invasive surgical techniques in complex Primary and Revision Arthroplasty surgeries. He has been trained and well versed with the Asia’s first and only Brainlab Arthroplasty Computer Navigation Orthopaedic Suite. He is proud to be a core team member to set the Limca world record of the highest joint replacement Surgeries in March 2015 at the institute. He is also well versed with shoulder and elbow replacement surgeries.
He is also trained well in AO Synthes for minimal invasive trauma surgeries.
With his extensive joint replacement experience, Dr Patel has decided to serve his fellow countrymen from the debilitating and ailing pain of arthritis. He has been at the forefront for social medical causes.
